My Family
There are four people in my family. They are my father, mother, sister and I. My family usually has a Sunday afternoon outing in Yang-Ming Mountain. We are very happy to go there to see the beautiful scenery and breathe the fresh air in the mountain area. The trip to Yang-Ming Mountain not only gives my family a chance to have fun together but also increases our knowledge by learning about different trees and flowers. Sometimes, we go to the park to have a picnic. My mother always prepares delicious food such as fresh milk and sandwiches. My sister and I like to fly a kite when we go on a picnic. While my father and my mother would take a nap because the breezy and warm afternoon makes them feel relaxed. In summertime, we soak our bodies in cool water and wash away the heat. We also like to go to the night market because it’s very interesting to spend the night there. We can eat a lot of delicious food, stroll along the street full of stalls and even catch fish. Though there are only four people in my family, we are a happy family.

A Trip to Taipei
Last summer vacation, I went to Taipei with my family. We always like to prepare some yummy snacks and drinks before we have a trip. This time we also went to a convenient store and bought some food before the trip. My mother also cooked some delicious food for us.
First, my father drove us to Yehiu Geopark. It took us two hours to get there. In Yehiu Geopark, we saw many different kinds of stones. They were very special. We took a lot of photos with them. I can’t forget the stone which looks like a queen’s head. We were really surprised to see the power of the ocean, too.
After that, we went to Mountain Yanmi. We really enjoyed the fresh air and the beautiful scenery there. At noon, we had lunch in the mountains. The food tastes really good. When we had lunch in a mountaion, we felt very relaxed.
On the way home, my brtoher and I slept in the car all the way. Although we were very tired on that day, it was the best wonderful trip that we have ever had. I will never forget the trip.
