A Trip To Kaohsiung
I visited Kaohsiung with my family last Sunday. We got up very early and the train was leaving at 9 o’clock. We packed up our things and went to the Taipei train station. We took the high speed rail.
I was really looking forward to the trip because it was first time on a train. I looked out the window. Buildings and trees were just whizzing by. The new high-speed trains sure are quick. I was very excited.
We arrived at twelve o’clock. It was a beautiful sunny day in Kaohsiung. We went to Love River and Chijin. But before long, it was about time to go home.
At six o’clock, we were back in Taipei. We got into a taxi and headed home. It was an amazing time for me because I learned a lot about Kaohsiung.

At the Beach
It’s a very hot and sunny day. Amy, Jack and Jim are all very hot. They want to dance. It is too hot too dance. Let’s go in the house. Oh! It’s still very hot.
They have an idea. They want to sit under the tree to feel cool, but it’s still very hot. How can they do now? Jim is talking to Amy and Jack, “How about going to the beach to swim?”
All boys and girls say “OK! Let’s go.” They can swim in the sea and play a beach ball and make sand castles. They all feel good. How nice a day it is!
