Goal Setting and Hard Work
What is the relationship between goal setting and hard work? In fact, they are very closely knit and simple.
It’s just like the relationship between the cave and light. When someone is wandering in a dark cave, without the guidance of light, he can’t escape of the cave. Goal setting is just like light that helps people to get out of danger.
When one has his goal set, he will work hard to achieve it. Hard work means to put in a lot of efforts to get something done. The process may be tough and tiring, but the final result is great. Goal setting is the key element to success, but hard work is more important in order to achieve the goal.
When everyone cheers for those who have succeeded, I don’t know how they feel in the process. However, by following their foot steps, the possibility of success will be higher.
Last, but not least, we know that we have to work very hard to achieve our goal. Without it, all will become in vain.

The Scary Love
One day, a young man took a walk in his old community. He listened a melodiousness sound. There was a beautiful girl playing the piano. The man enamored her, so he went to see the girl in the evening every day. The girl fell in love with him, but she was a ghost. She couldn’t love people.
One day, the man asked the guard of the community about the girl, but the guard didn’t know her. The man thought the guard was wrong.
Next day, the man went to the girl’s house. He knocked the door, but no one answered. The girl wanted to see him, but she was shy. She peeped from the crack of the door. The man did that, too.
However, he saw everything red in the room. He was very scared. When people are dead, their eyes will be red. It meant the man saw things through the girl’s eyes. Then, he passed out because he didn’t believed what he saw.

My Graduation Trip
My long awaited graduation trip finally came. The trip was only three days long, but I felt like it was the first time that I really had enjoyed my self.
On the way to Taichung, my friends and I were having lots of fun on the bus. First, we visited the National Museum of Natural Science. We learned a lot about scientific principles and global warming issues. We also had “hands-on” experience on some of the exhibits.
Then we went to the amusement park. We rode on the roller coaster and other facilities. We had a great time there. Too bad there was not much spare time to play around more. It was so much fun to relax and play freely with my friends.
In the evening, we went to Fengjia Night Market. We ate a lot of popular local snacks included sausage wrapped in glutinous rice, fried chicken chops, etc. We also bought some attactive souvenirs for our family.
Finally, we were on our way home. I enjoyed being with my friends, and I will appreciate our friendships for a lifetime.

The Greedy Dog
Once upon a time, there was a greedy dog in the forest. He was very greedy and liked to take things away from others.
One day, the dog walked around the corner and discovered other small dogs. The greedy dog’s mouth was scary. The greedy dog barked loudly and scarded the other smaller dogs. They all ran away.
The greedy dog walked across a bridge and found a surprise under the bridge. It was another cut dog with a fish in its mouth. The greedy dog wanted to snatch it and opened its mouth to bark.
But as he did, he realized it was the wrong thing to do. He decided not to bark and take the fish. Instead, he decided to play with the cute dog. He made friends with him. Later, the cute dog shared the fish with him.
That day, he learned the golden rule. Treat others as you want to be treated.

Four Seasons
The four masterpieces of God’s are spring, summer, autumn and winter. They have different characteristics, styles and features.
The spring girl is the most popular. When she comes, all insects and flowers surround her. Butterflies dance happily. Honeybees do their works diligently. The sun shines on the earth, makes the earth more vigorous.
The younger brother is very naughty in summer. Due to the boy’s enthusiasm of summer, each tree and flowers become healthy and stronger. But the hot weather makes everybody hot and languid.
Autumn is just like a magician. He changes the leaves into different colors. The slight wind brushes onto their faces and make them feel cool immediately. Autumn also depicts yearning beautiful pictures.
Winter is a very cruel man. He drives away the profusion colors into a vast expanse of whiteness. The trees become lonely, the flowers become sad and the street becomes quiet.
We must treasure this each season’s offers and create a better tomorrow.

An Unforgetable Trip
One night, my family went oto Matsu for a short vacation with my uncle. The next morning, my mother packed for us and we headed for the airport.
Hours later, we landed on Beigan Airport. First, we checked into a hotel. Then we took a tour bus and went sight-seeing. We went to the beach nearby. We had lots of fun on the beach. In the evening, we went to the harbour for dinner.
The next day, we went to Nangan. We visited one of the military installations. It hides a man-made underground marina, large enough to secure dozens of boats.
Next, we visited the Matsu Distillery where we see how the Kaoliang was produced. Then we went to Tunnel 88, one of the highlight of our trip. We saw rows of Tunnel 88 Kaoliang, a famous product of Matsu, stored in the tunnel for aging.
After three days, we were on our way home. Undoubtedly, it was the most unforgetable trip I have ever had.

Once upon a time, there were two monkeys living in the forest, Monkey Clean and Monkey Cleaner. One day, Monkey Clean was eating a yellow banana hungrily while Monkey Cleaner was climbing on a tree. After he finished, he just threw the peel away.
Suddenly, Monkey Cleaner felt he was hitten by something. It’s a banana peel. It made Monkey Cleaner feel very unhappy because he liked being clean. He thought the banana was very dirty.
Monkey Cleaner started to argue with Moneky Clean. They even fought with each other. They threw the banana peel back and forth. Monkey Cleaner became really angry. Finally, the banana peel was throw into the sky, and it fell down again.
This time, the banana peel landed on Oscar’s head. Oscar picked up an old dirty mirror and looked at himself. He said, “What a beautiful hat!” Monkey Clean and Monkey Cleaner saw this and they laughed out londly. They told Oscar the hat looked good on him. Finally, they left the banana peel hat to Oscar and said, “What a dirty monster! Let’s get out of here.”

A Scary Experience
One day, I had a toothache, so my mother took me to see the dentist. I felt so happy because this was my first time to see the dentist.
In the dentist’s office, I heard a little boy shouting, “Ouch! Ouch! I want to go home now!” I knew it was not fun to see the dentist.
When the nurse said, “Number sixteen,” I sat on the chair and opened my mouth. I was very scared when the doctor helped me to clean my teeth. I felt so much pain. I shouted, “Ouch! Ouch! I want to go home.” just like the little boy.
On the way home, I cried the whole time, I never want to go to see the dentist again.

I Want to Eat Some Cheese!
Mouse Zack got up early in the morning. The weather was very nice. The sun was shinning, but Zack felt very terrible, he didn’t eat any food yesterday. So, he decided to eat some cheese today. He left his hole and tried to find some cheese!
First, he saw Emma. Emma is a robin bird. Zack saw, her and said, “Hello! Emma! Can you give me a piece of cheese?” Emma thought for ten seconds and said, “Sorry! I don’t know what is cheese, but I have some worm, do you want some?” Zack said, “No, thank you. I don’t like to eat worms!”
Then, he saw Sam. Sam is an ox. Zack saw him and said, “Hello! Sam! Can you give me some cheese?” Sam thought and said, “Sorry, I don’t have any cheese, but I have some grass, do you want some?” Zack said, “No, thank you. I don’t like to eat grass!”
Next, he saw Color. Color is parrot. Zack saw her and said, “Hello! Color! Can you give me some cheese?” Color thought and said, “I don’t have cheese, but I have some peanuts, do you want some?” Zack said, “OK! I think peanuts are delicious too!”
Now, he saw Ray. Ray is a cat. Zack was scared, but Ray didn’t eat him, Ray said, “I like to eat peanuts and I know you have it, here is cheese, can we exchange?” Zack was surprised. Finally, he got the cheese that he wanted for a long time. It made him terrific. Today, it was an amazing day!

Food
I like many kinds of food. I like yogurt best of all. Eating good food makes us strong and healthy.
Green beans are green and long. Carrots can make you strong. Spaghetti and cereal are good for you and me. Hamburgers have cheese and meat. Ice cream is cold and sweet. Mmm…. They are so good.
I am a tall, strong and happy boy because I eat each food group every day. Do you want to be happy strong and healthy?
