The Method of Planting Sunflower
There are many kinds of flower in the world. My favorite one is “Sunflower” of all because it means energctic. Do you want to know how to plan it? Let me teach you.
First you have to go to a flower shop to buy some seeds. Second, plant it in the place where there are plenty of sunshine and water it. Then, it will sprout in two weeks and grow up soon. After a month, the sunflower is taller than before and it will have a flower bud. When there is a flower bud, you have to water it more water than before because it needs a lot of water. After one week, there will be a beautiful sunflower. After reading my essay, do you want to try?

Go Traveling to Australia
Last summer my father, mother, sister and I went to Australia for traveling.
First, we visited a zoo. There were many kangaroos hopping up and down and koalas sleeping in the tree. We fed kangaroos and hugged koalas. Animals seemed to smile at me. This was also the first time for me to see a real baby in its mother’s pouch. The zoo was so wild that I felt so close to the nature. Then, our next stop was an aquarium near the beach. We went to the beach to swim and built sand castles. After swimming, we watched sea animal shows in the aquarium. We fed them with little fish. They enjoyed our feeding and kissed on my cheek. They were like acrobats playing different tricks. Australia food was American style food. I had buffet almost every day. I had big hamburgers, french fries, cake, chicken and drank coke almost every meal, so I got fat after the trip.
Australia is the third country I have visited. Next year, I will add Hong Kong to my visiting list.

Magic Rainbow
After the rain, there is a rainbow in the sky. I like to imagine what life would be like over the rainbow.
I think there might be angels over the rainbow, unicorns playing with flowers and birds singing in the trees. The season over the rainbow could always be spring. If I were tired, I could sleep on the clouds and the wind would take away all my worries.
When the sun set, a firefly would take me home, butterflies would sleep in flowers and the moon would smile at me. When the sun rose, the birds would wake me up, too, and flowers would sing to me.
The place over the rainbow would be very friendly and full of love. If I could, I would move over the rainbow and enjoy everyday life.

The Best Scientist
Jack was the worst scientist in Happyville. He always invented useless things, but he was a very good husband. He had a wife called Mary.
One day, Happyvilles worst robber kidnapped Mary and said to the citizens, “If you don’t give me all the money. I will kill Mary!” When he finished talking, he grabbed Mary and ran away.
The people in Happy town were sad, “Oh no! All the money Happyville will vinish!” said the Mayor . He continued “Who wants to help get Mary back?” “Me!” said Jack eagey.
Jack flew in one of his crazy machines to find Mary. He found Andy, the robber, and brought him back to happyville. Now, he’s in joil and Mary was rescged. Nobody ever called Jack “The Worst Scientist” again.

Naughty Rita
Rita was a ten-year-old girl. She was a good student at school, but a naughty kid at home.
One day, Rita went to a playground and played on the swing. She didn’t sit, but stood on it and began to swing. She swung so hard that the chains were about to broke. Rita didn’t notice that, but a boy walked by had seen it. He tried to warn her, but she didn’t want to listen.
Bang, she fell off from the swing. Her legs were broken, and she was in a great pain. The boy helped her to call an ambulance. Few minutes later, the ambulance came and took Rita to the hospital.
Because of the accident, Rita became a handicapped and had to sit on a wheelchair.

Animals Attack
It was a beautiful Sunday, and I was in Paris. As I walked on the road, I saw a cat walking pass by. I was so curious that I followed it. It ran away very fast in a sudden. It turned right into an alley, so I walked faster and faster. Just then, I saw thousands of cats and mice in the alley.
They were frighting. Some cats attacked the mice, and some mice hit back. When some cats rushed to the trash can to catch their food near me, I screamed out loud. All the cats and mice turned and looked at me. And then, they came close to me and started to attack me. I ran away, but they kept following me. They ran after me very fast. I was so scared that I turned left on the road, and I ran as fast as I could to a public phone booth. I took the hanger and tried to call the police for help. Just then, I heard, “Jessica, wake up, you are late!” I opened my eyes, and I saw my mother. Oh, it was just a dream!

A Trip To Kaohsiung
I visited Kaohsiung with my family last Sunday. We got up very early and the train was leaving at 9 o’clock. We packed up our things and went to the Taipei train station. We took the high speed rail.
I was really looking forward to the trip because it was first time on a train. I looked out the window. Buildings and trees were just whizzing by. The new high-speed trains sure are quick. I was very excited.
We arrived at twelve o’clock. It was a beautiful sunny day in Kaohsiung. We went to Love River and Chijin. But before long, it was about time to go home.
At six o’clock, we were back in Taipei. We got into a taxi and headed home. It was an amazing time for me because I learned a lot about Kaohsiung.

My Family
There are four people in my family. They are my father, mother, sister and I. My family usually has a Sunday afternoon outing in Yang-Ming Mountain. We are very happy to go there to see the beautiful scenery and breathe the fresh air in the mountain area. The trip to Yang-Ming Mountain not only gives my family a chance to have fun together but also increases our knowledge by learning about different trees and flowers. Sometimes, we go to the park to have a picnic. My mother always prepares delicious food such as fresh milk and sandwiches. My sister and I like to fly a kite when we go on a picnic. While my father and my mother would take a nap because the breezy and warm afternoon makes them feel relaxed. In summertime, we soak our bodies in cool water and wash away the heat. We also like to go to the night market because it’s very interesting to spend the night there. We can eat a lot of delicious food, stroll along the street full of stalls and even catch fish. Though there are only four people in my family, we are a happy family.

A Trip to Taipei
Last summer vacation, I went to Taipei with my family. We always like to prepare some yummy snacks and drinks before we have a trip. This time we also went to a convenient store and bought some food before the trip. My mother also cooked some delicious food for us.
First, my father drove us to Yehiu Geopark. It took us two hours to get there. In Yehiu Geopark, we saw many different kinds of stones. They were very special. We took a lot of photos with them. I can’t forget the stone which looks like a queen’s head. We were really surprised to see the power of the ocean, too.
After that, we went to Mountain Yanmi. We really enjoyed the fresh air and the beautiful scenery there. At noon, we had lunch in the mountains. The food tastes really good. When we had lunch in a mountaion, we felt very relaxed.
On the way home, my brtoher and I slept in the car all the way. Although we were very tired on that day, it was the best wonderful trip that we have ever had. I will never forget the trip.

A Strange Animal
One day, a gorilla went to a river to drink some water. When he got there, he saw a purple fish in the river. He thought the purple fish was very beautiful, so he couldn’t stop looking at it. After that, he went to see the purple fish very often. Before he knew it, he fell in love with the fish.
Soon after, they got married. One year later, they had a baby. However, the baby locked very strange and its name was weird, too. It was named Gorilla Fish because its head and legs were like a gorilla, and its body was more like the purple fish’s body.
When is grew up, it became a very famous animal. Everybody liked to play with it and to be its friend. It didn’t feel sad about its strange appearance, but instead, felt happy and pround of itself.

Once upon a time, there were two monkeys living in the forest, Monkey Clean and Monkey Cleaner. One day, Monkey Clean was eating a yellow banana hungrily while Monkey Cleaner was climbing on a tree. After he finished, he just threw the peel away.
Suddenly, Monkey Cleaner felt he was hitten by something. It’s a banana peel. It made Monkey Cleaner feel very unhappy because he liked being clean. He thought the banana was very dirty.
Monkey Cleaner started to argue with Moneky Clean. They even fought with each other. They threw the banana peel back and forth. Monkey Cleaner became really angry. Finally, the banana peel was throw into the sky, and it fell down again.
This time, the banana peel landed on Oscar’s head. Oscar picked up an old dirty mirror and looked at himself. He said, “What a beautiful hat!” Monkey Clean and Monkey Cleaner saw this and they laughed out londly. They told Oscar the hat looked good on him. Finally, they left the banana peel hat to Oscar and said, “What a dirty monster! Let’s get out of here.”

A Stone
One stone was in universe. One day, it wanted to go to Taiwan, so it sat in orbit to the Earth to Taiwan.
Later, the stone landed on Earth, but he was in the Pacific Ocean, he floated in the west of Taiwan. In one month, he was on the beach, there were many different kinds of stones, every stone discriminated him. Suddenly, one child came and picked up a stone and took a look, but he did not like it. He changed many times. At last, the child picked him up, he looked at it for a long time and happily took him home. Now, the child and the stone became friends. Whenever the child goes, he will take the stone with him. The stone is so happy, he does not regret to come to Taiwan because he has a good master and this master is me.

An Unbeliable Ending
It was summer, the muppets was so bored that they gathered together to play hide and seek. As the game started, everyone tried their best hiding themselves. The Count was the “It,” because he liked to count! Ernie had an idea. He wasn’t going to hide. He waited for the Count, hid behind him, and then followed him.
Meanwhile, in the house, Betty Lou and Big Bird hid together in the bathroom. They knew the Count would come and knock the door. But they wouldn’t answer it. Soon the Count would go away.
Oscar the Grouch was the most incredible! He hid himself in a trash can. Some people didn’t know that, so they dumped Oscar the Grouch into the trash truck! After the game ended up, the muppets found that Oscar the Grouch was missing! They were very worried.
After one week, the muppets got a letter from Oscar the Grouch. It said, “I find my love! Her name is Jenny. We will get married in the trash dump site. Please join our wedding!” How unbelievable it was!

His ball got stuck in the trees! Bobo cried sadly, “My ball! My ball is in the tree!” He went to find his friend, G-G. “G-G! G-G! My ball is in a tree, can you help get the ball for me?” said Bobo. “No, I can’t. I don’t have any tme!” The G-G went away. Bobo cried sadly, “My ball! My new ball!” He went to find his friend, Tom. “Tom! Tom! My ball is in a tree, can you help get the ball for me?” said Bobo. “No! No! No! I have to baby-sit my little son! I can’t help you.” Bobo was sad, he sat on a big rock and thought “No one can help me to get my ball ….” Suddenly, a squirrel ran to Bobo, “Hey! Hey! Bobo! Maybe I can help you!” Bobo said, “You can help me? Thank you!” And the squirrel helped Bobo get the ball. “Thank you very much, no one would help me! Only you. You are my true friend!”
