The Dog and The Taro
Ond day, a dog slept in the forest in the afternoon. A hungry tiger saw it and wanted to eat it. The tiger roared loudly and the dog woke up. The dog was very scared, so it tried to run away.
The dog hid in a big tree. A cat saw it. The tiger couldn’t find the dog and it asked the cat. The cat pointed to the tree and told the tiger the dog was there, then the cat ran away. The tiger jumped up the tree. The dog hopped down the tree and kept running.
Then, the dog jumped into the taro farm. The tiger jumped into it, too, but the dog disappeared. The tiger couldn’t find it, so the tiger gave and ran back to the forest.
The taro saved the dog, so since then the dogs don’t like to eat taro anymore. The dog felt angry about the cat because the cat told the tiger where it was. That’s why dogs always like to catch cats now.

A Surprised Day
One day, Sam, Patrick and I wanted to go to the basketball court to play basketball.
When we were happily playing basketball, an old man came over and wanted to play with us. He said, “Could I play with you?” We said, “Of course!”
I thought we could beat him easily. But the old man threw a three pointer. Patrick and I were very surprised. Everybody clapped hands for him and the old man was very happy.
It was a happy day. I wish I could see the old man and play basketball with him again.
