An Unforgetable Trip
One night, my family went oto Matsu for a short vacation with my uncle. The next morning, my mother packed for us and we headed for the airport.
Hours later, we landed on Beigan Airport. First, we checked into a hotel. Then we took a tour bus and went sight-seeing. We went to the beach nearby. We had lots of fun on the beach. In the evening, we went to the harbour for dinner.
The next day, we went to Nangan. We visited one of the military installations. It hides a man-made underground marina, large enough to secure dozens of boats.
Next, we visited the Matsu Distillery where we see how the Kaoliang was produced. Then we went to Tunnel 88, one of the highlight of our trip. We saw rows of Tunnel 88 Kaoliang, a famous product of Matsu, stored in the tunnel for aging.
After three days, we were on our way home. Undoubtedly, it was the most unforgetable trip I have ever had.

My Learning Experience
Learning is the most important thing for students. We go to school to learn and know some new things. If you can work hard at it, it’ll become your own knowledge. And “working hard” is an important point when you are learning something.
When I was five, I went to kindergarten where I started to learn things, the school work was just so easy to me because I can learn things quickly and I always work hard at school. After that I went to elementary school successfully. Thought the school work was harder, I could still do it very well, but when I got to sixth grade, something changed….
I am good at language subjects, especially English. I like to listen to English songs, read English articles and watch movies, etc…. It has really improved my English ability. But I also ignored my biggest problem “Math”! Math was just like a pain in my neck. I couldn’t get it right! Even now!
I lost my confidence, I felt upset and I hated this subject! But my teacher told me to solve more math problems and ask more questions. Now I am in the second year of my Junior high school career. I still have not really solved this problem, but I will still keep working on it and fight the pressure!
I wish we all could have incredible scores on every test, and enjoy our learning!

The Brave Hero
Long time ago there was a country called “Happy Castle”. Everyone in this country was monster. This race is called Angle”. The Angles didn’t look ugly but cute and they always wore smiles on their face. Happy Castle was always full of peace and happiness until a group of soldiers came. They were from the other country called “Dark Castle”.This race is called “Devil”. They had no enough food for more than three years. When they heard that the Angles had more food, they wanted to get some from them. But they thought they wouldn’t agree, so they planned to rob.
They fought with each other. The Angles didn’t accept the military training, so they lost several times. But one day a brave monster called Nico stood forward and led all the Angles to fight with the Devils. Finally the Happy Castle won, but Nico was such a kind monster that he wanted two countries to stay peaceful. So he told the king of the Devils that they could come twice a year to get some food. After that, two countries lived a happy life without war because of the brave and greatful monster Nico.

A girl, Joanna, had a terrible day one day. At school, she not only failed her English test but also made her math teacher very angry without knowing how to solve the problem. After school that day, while she was listening to her ipod, she lost her homekey somewhere on campus. She looked for it for a long time, but she wasn’t able to find it anywhere. Luckily, when she got home, her brother, Robert, came home at the same time. So she could enter the house with him. However, there was another trouble. Later the day after dinner, while she was doing her homework, she forgot an important thing. Because she didn’t bring her Chinese and history homework home, she couldn’t have done any of her homework that night. Both her father and mother thought that was a very strange day for Joanna, except Robert. He thought that was normal for Joanna to forget something. Finally, before Joanna went to sleep, she opened the window in her bedroom and saw the night sky was filled with stars. They reminded her of a poem she’d learned from Sesame Street.
“Star light, star bright,
First star I see tonight,
Wish I may, wish I might,
Have this wish tonight”
So, she made a wish upon a star that everything would be better the next day.

Our Dear
We have only one Earth. We have to love her very much.
Five billion years ago, Mother Earth was very healthy and her body was much cleaner than now. People lived in and loved nature, they grew crops, hunted for meat, and built their warm houses, like huts or mountain caves. They made their clothes from animal skins or leaves, and the made fire by rubbing sticks to keep warm or cook meat. They lived uncomfortably, but they were friendly to others. And Mother Earth was happy then.
Why is Mother Earth ill now? She’s seriously sick because we make so much pollution, such as air, water, garbage pollution, etc. Some people randomly throw trash anywhere, use too many resources including gas that causes the air pollution, and waste things like water and food. Though we live in a convenient environment, we don’t know how to love our Mother Earth. That is why Mother Earth is very sad.
Some people might think they can’t do anything to save the Earth. However, there are still some easy things that everyone can do. For example, we can save food and water from everyday life, recycle garbage correctly. Remember that Mother Earth is angry now, she heats herself, makes a lot of horrible disasters, and shakes her heart strongly nowadays.
Therefore, if we respect Mother Earth, she will smile at us and our sons and daughters will have a better world to live.

Sean is Lin’s boyfriend. He is very good to her, but he never lets her go shopping.
One day, Sean told Lin that he would go to New York for work the next week. Lin said she wanted to go, too. “I’ll just go there for only three days! Why do you want to go?” asked Sean. “Because I want to buy some new clothes there. They are really beautiful!” replied Lin. “You can just buy them in the department store, can’t you?” said Sean. Lin was very happy when she heard these. “Thank you!” said Lin, “I am always waiting for you to say so!” Then she brought her purse and went shopping.
She is really a smart girl, isn’t she?

The Method of Planting Sunflower
There are many kinds of flower in the world. My favorite one is “Sunflower” of all because it means energctic. Do you want to know how to plan it? Let me teach you.
First you have to go to a flower shop to buy some seeds. Second, plant it in the place where there are plenty of sunshine and water it. Then, it will sprout in two weeks and grow up soon. After a month, the sunflower is taller than before and it will have a flower bud. When there is a flower bud, you have to water it more water than before because it needs a lot of water. After one week, there will be a beautiful sunflower. After reading my essay, do you want to try?

Go Traveling to Australia
Last summer my father, mother, sister and I went to Australia for traveling.
First, we visited a zoo. There were many kangaroos hopping up and down and koalas sleeping in the tree. We fed kangaroos and hugged koalas. Animals seemed to smile at me. This was also the first time for me to see a real baby in its mother’s pouch. The zoo was so wild that I felt so close to the nature. Then, our next stop was an aquarium near the beach. We went to the beach to swim and built sand castles. After swimming, we watched sea animal shows in the aquarium. We fed them with little fish. They enjoyed our feeding and kissed on my cheek. They were like acrobats playing different tricks. Australia food was American style food. I had buffet almost every day. I had big hamburgers, french fries, cake, chicken and drank coke almost every meal, so I got fat after the trip.
Australia is the third country I have visited. Next year, I will add Hong Kong to my visiting list.

Magic Rainbow
After the rain, there is a rainbow in the sky. I like to imagine what life would be like over the rainbow.
I think there might be angels over the rainbow, unicorns playing with flowers and birds singing in the trees. The season over the rainbow could always be spring. If I were tired, I could sleep on the clouds and the wind would take away all my worries.
When the sun set, a firefly would take me home, butterflies would sleep in flowers and the moon would smile at me. When the sun rose, the birds would wake me up, too, and flowers would sing to me.
The place over the rainbow would be very friendly and full of love. If I could, I would move over the rainbow and enjoy everyday life.

The Best Scientist
Jack was the worst scientist in Happyville. He always invented useless things, but he was a very good husband. He had a wife called Mary.
One day, Happyvilles worst robber kidnapped Mary and said to the citizens, “If you don’t give me all the money. I will kill Mary!” When he finished talking, he grabbed Mary and ran away.
The people in Happy town were sad, “Oh no! All the money Happyville will vinish!” said the Mayor . He continued “Who wants to help get Mary back?” “Me!” said Jack eagey.
Jack flew in one of his crazy machines to find Mary. He found Andy, the robber, and brought him back to happyville. Now, he’s in joil and Mary was rescged. Nobody ever called Jack “The Worst Scientist” again.
